Mod GRF 1-29
PH-MODGRF-001
Specifications
Description
Mod GRF 1-29 (Modified GRF, CJC-1295 no DAC) is a modified analog of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone with enhanced stability. This tetrasubstituted peptide resists enzymatic degradation.
Mechanism of Action
Mod GRF 1-29 features four amino acid substitutions (positions 2, 8, 15, and 27) that protect against DPP-IV cleavage while maintaining GHRH receptor binding. These modifications extend half-life while preserving pituitary GH-releasing activity (Jette et al., 2005). GHRH-(1-29) administered twice daily reverses the decreased GH and IGF-I levels in elderly men (Corpas et al., 1992).
Research Applications
- Stabilized GHRH analog research (Jette et al., 2005)
- Pulsatile GH release studies (Corpas et al., 1992)
- Combined GHRH/GHRP synergy
- GH axis modulation
- Peptide stability research
